Beaches on Koh Samui

Sixteen areas, dozens of beaches. Chaweng is the longest and liveliest, Lamai slightly more relaxed, Choeng Mon the family favourite, and Silver Beach and Coral Cove the snorkelling coves in between. The north coast (Maenam, Bophut, Bang Por) is calm most of the year with sunsets toward Koh Phangan. The west coast (Lipa Noi, Taling Ngam) is shallow, quiet and has the best sunsets on the island.
